Add a Data Resource

  1. Once logged in, mouse over “Account” in the upper right corner and click the “Admin” button.

  2. Click on “Data Management” in the top ribbon.

  3. Click on “New Data Resource” in the top right corner.

    1. If this is your team’s first Data Resource, there will also be a link in the middle of the screen reading “Create One”.

    2. If this is the first Data Resource you’ve added, you’ll now be required to authorize access to Google Sheets. Click “Authorize Access to Google Sheets”.

  4. Enter the URL for the google sheet, the tab name*, the name you’d like to use for this sheet in TrialTrace, and click “Import Data”.

    1. You can also choose to keep the sheet private to you, or you can click the checkbox to share the sheet with your team members.

Your data resource is now added and should be available for making a new chart.

*What is a “Tab Name”?

For Tab Name, enter the tab name of your spreadsheet (in MS Excel this is called the Sheet Name), which is located at the bottom of your spreadsheet.
